The EZ-3 coupler/hitch converts two trikes into a tandem, or attaches a trailer to a trike.
It is made to fit Sun Company’s AX, SX, and USX-EZ3 Trike. Made of 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum w/ bronze bushings and steel axle, total weight is 2-1/2 Lbs.
It bolts to the existing seat mounting holes. Just remove the bolts and nuts that fasten the seat to the frame, add the coupler/hitch, and replace the bolts and nuts. Then remove the front wheel of the trailing trike, and fasten the front forks to the axle of the EZ-3 coupler/hitch.
For group fun, you can couple as many trikes together as you like. Just about any brand of trike can be used as the trailing trike, because most front forks are a standard size. There is an attachment right on the EZ-3 coupler/hitch for connecting a trailer or jogging trailer. Simply rotate the spool piece to the rear and it’s ready.
Notes: · A bicycle can not be attached to the rear of a trike because it is too unstable · Trikes that are configured w/ two wheels forward and one to the rear are not compatible with this product |
